Due to a traffic accident which involved a utility pole, on the corner of North Madison and North Street, the City of Douglas Utilities Department would like to notify citizens that electrical service on the north end of town will be out for the next 2-3 hours. Customers in this area should make proper arrangements until power is restored. Linemen are working to restore power as promptly as possible for the convenience of our customers.
