The Douglas Exchange Club, the City of Douglas, Coffee County Commission and community partners ask everyone to save the date and to plan to celebrate the 4th of July in Douglas. Freedom Fest has become a yearly tradition for Douglas - Coffee County and surrounding cities. This year on Thursday, July 4th at JC Adams Municipal Park, festivities will begin at 5p.m. Admission and parking are free. There will be live entertainment, food vendors, and fireworks after dark.
“Freedom Fest is a traditional celebration in Douglas and we could not provide this celebration without partnering with the Douglas Exchange Club, Coffee County Commission, local businesses and private supporters,” says Georgia Henderson, Central Services Director for the City of Douglas. “Our community, working together, has helped to build this celebration into a tradition for many families in Douglas and Coffee County. This year we are sure to see more people come out to enjoy quality entertainment, food and fun!”
