The City of Douglas is seeking qualified construction contractors to participate in the Community HOME Investment Program (CHIP) and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Neighborhood Revitalization Programs. The CHIP and CDBG Programs provide funds for the rehabilitation of homes of low-to-moderate-income individuals within a specific target area who meet the qualifications.
The City of Douglas’ CHIP & CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization Programs are administered by the Southern Georgia Regional Commission (SGRC) located in Valdosta, GA. Contractor solicitations will remain open during the length of the program. Contractor application forms may be obtained by contacting Lindsay Ray at 229-333-5277 or Alyssa Fussell at 912-383-0277. The completed application form should be mailed to the following address for processing:
