[ARCHIVED] PUBLIC NOTICE Stakeholders Meeting for the New Proposed Boundary for the Development District

Public Notice - Stakeholder Meeting

The City of Douglas and Downtown Development Authority is proposing new boundary for the Development District, also known as the Central Business District. 

The Downtown Development Authority will hold a Stakeholders meeting to discuss the proposed new boundary and map on Monday, November 6, 2023, 5:30 p.m. at the Atrium Event Center for persons within the boundaries of North Hwy. 441 (McNeil Drive) to South Hwy. 441 (near McDonalds), West (Magnolia Street) to East (Gaskin Avenue) and George Washington Carver Shopping Center.

Following the stakeholders meeting, a public hearing notice will be released and the agenda item to approve or deny will appear during the regular meeting of the City of Douglas Commission on Monday, November 13, 2023.
