Looking for a place out of the norm to host your next small event or meeting? Try Heritage Station Museum! The museum is available for rental to host small meetings with under 70 attendees.

Operated by the Coffee County Historical Society, Heritage Station Museum is located at 219 W. Ward Street in the old Georgia and Florida Railroad Depot, and features an array of permanent collections including military, agricultural, African-American, and local business exhibits. The museum also boasts a unique collection of train memorabilia and highlights Douglas’ connection with the railroad industry. The current temporary exhibit is “What Was Fun For You” and has an array of memorabilia of fun past time activities such as local plays and musicals, roller skating, sports games, and fun places that were visited in Douglas and Coffee County.  Special thanks to Chris Calhoun for adding lighting to our temporary exhibits and building some exhibit space for the museum

Open times vary Thursday through Saturday based on volunteer availability so call (912)381-1135 before you make plans to visit the museum. To rent the museum, a user must check for availability and complete a rental contract with the Coffee County Historical Society. For pricing and all rules regarding rental of the Museum, please contact Carol Morgan, CCHS President at (912) 381-1135.
