Due to the intense cold weather for our area, the City of Douglas is opening a warming station at the Art Center beginning 6PM, Friday, December 23, 2022. The Art Center is located at 200-E S. Madison Avenue (directly behind Central Square Gym next to Satilla Regional Library). Please remain vigilant in protecting people, pets, pipes, and plants from the cold weather over the next several days. If someone should see a person in need of utilizing the warming station, please contact the non-emergency 9-1-1 number at 912-384-7675 and give the location of the person.
