[ARCHIVED] ENTIRE WATER SYSTEM DOWN FOR DOUGLAS RESIDENTS

no tap water

**UPDATE** 07/08/2022 11:35AM - The new estimated time for water to be turned on is 12:45PM.  Crews are still working diligently and as quickly as possible. The pipe should be installed by 12:30pm. As soon as we have an update we will post it on the website and City's Facebook page. We ask for continued patience as we work during this crisis.

**UPDATE*** July 8, 2022 - 7:50AM - The City has discovered another ruptured line and is working to make the repair. The new estimated time of completion should be between 10:30am - 11:30am.

The entire water system is down and now affects everyone.  Crews are working to fix the major leak. Once the water system comes back up, workers will flush the system block by block. Until the system is back operational, the boil water order is in effect for any remaining water from pipes or stored from pipes in the last 24 hours. The boil order should be carried out, by everyone, for the next 24 hours. We apologize for this inconvenience.
