[ARCHIVED] HERITAGE STATION MUSEUM RECEIVES BOOK FROM GASKIN AVENUE COMMITTEE

The Gaskin Avenue Book Committee, presented Heritage Station Museum a copy of their book, “From Graveyard Road To Silk Stocking Row” on September 1st, 2011.

Georgia Henderson, Central Services Director stated, “We are very excited to receive a copy of the book and believe it goes hand in hand with what we offer to the community through our local history museum."

The book is over 500 pages in length and covers the history of homes and the families who lived on Gaskin Avenue from 1895 to 1930. For information on how to obtain a copy of the book please call 912-384-3647 or 912-384-8962.
