[ARCHIVED] Main Street Hometown Harvest - A Spook-ta-cular Event!

The annual Hometown Harvest will take place on Thursday, October 30, from
4 PM to 7:30 PM on the vacant lot adjacent to City Hall located on Madison Avenue. Kids play area will be from 4PM – 7:30PM, candy distribution will be from 4 PM – 6 PM; registration for the kids costume contest will begin at 4 PM and end promptly at 5:30 PM. The costume contest will begin at 6:15 PM with winners being announced at 7:30 PM. The age limit for those participating in trick-or-treating and costume contest is 12 years of age and under. Participation for the costume contest will be free of charge. For a small fee kids can also enjoy a pony ride and kiddie train rides.

“We are looking for another great year for this event,” says Pattie Merritt, Main Street Coordinator. “It is a pleasure to provide a safe and fun atmosphere for kids to trick or treat.”
