[ARCHIVED] CITIZENS ARE URGED TO REPORT SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR TO “SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING” CRIME TIP LINE

The Douglas Police Department and Douglas Fire Department are working together to continue investigation into criminal activities which have occurred over the last few months. The Douglas Police Department is soliciting any information in regards to suspicious fires and burglaries.

“We are asking all citizens to stay vigilant and to report any suspicious activity,” says Mayor James H. Dennis. “We appreciate everyone who has provided information to aid our investigations in the past and encourage citizens to report tips to our See Something, Say Something Crime Tip Line at 912-260-3600.”

Citizens can call the ANONYMOUS See Something, Say Something Crime Tip Line at 260-3600. For crime or suspicious activity that is occurring and you are witnessing it as it happens, please call 911. The Georgia Arson Control Board is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects in these fires. Anyone with information that could lead to an arrest should call 800-282-5804.
