[ARCHIVED] HERITAGE STATION MUSEUM REVISES GROUP TOUR FEES

In an effort to help raise funds for the preservation of the Heritage Station Museum, group tour fees for visitors, who wish to have guided tours, have been revised. Guided group tours of the museum are offered at $5 per person, $75 for tours of 5 – 25, $100 for groups of 26-50, and $150 for group tours 50 to 100 persons. All group tours must be scheduled in advance. Daily admission fees will remain $1.00 per person. The facility is also available for private events weekdays after 5pm and on Saturdays for small group meetings, showers, or tea parties.

Heritage Station Museum, once known as the old G&F Railroad depot, will continue to showcase the history of the railroad and Douglas-Coffee County. Hours of operation for the museum will be Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm and occasionally on Saturdays from 10:00am – 2:00pm for special programs and events.

Please call ahead to schedule a tour date and to register the number of people that will be in your group. For more information, please call 912-389-3461 or 912-383-0277.
