The City of Douglas has teamed together with local industry, Coats and Clark, to offer a Handcrafts Program at the Douglas Visitor Information Center/Heritage Station Museum. The program will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 2pm-4pm at 219 W. Ward Street. Local handcrafters will be on hand to provide live demonstrations during the program.
“Don’t miss your chance to receive FREE giveaways from Coats & Clark”, says Central Services Director, Georgia Henderson. “We have talented people in our community who craft by hand beautiful quilts, hats, and artwork and this program will showcase their talent. With a great partner like Coats and Clark, we are proud to have the opportunity to provide this program to the community.”
