Volunteers from Coffee County 4-H and the Mayor’s Youth Council generously donated books to the Little Libraries Project on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. The Little Libraries Project is organized by Keep Douglas Beautiful, and it aims to promote literacy and protect the environment. The Little Libraries are located at Eastside Park, Emma Ward Park, N. Madison Avenue Park and Wheeler Park to promote reading while enjoying the parks. The project also welcomes volunteers to help organize and distribute books and maintain the Little Libraries in the community.

If you need more information about the Little Libraries or Keep Douglas Beautiful, please contact Christian Mikell at (912)383-0277 or email cmikell@cityofdouglasga.gov.
