Normally on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at 1011 Shirley Avenue (corner of Shirley Avenue and College Park Dr.). Proof of residency is required to drop off items at the designated location. This is for households in the City of Douglas. Customers must be in line prior to 11:30am to drop off. Customers must unload any items that are not on a trailer and/or items that the clam truck cannot pick up. Acceptable brown and white good items include furniture, washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, stoves, microwaves, television, etc. Please drain all chemicals from appliances. This does not apply to hazardous chemicals such as paints/solvents, household cleaners, pesticides/herbicides, motor oil, antifreeze, batteries, or tires. Please no business or commercial dumping.
